Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We also request read-only access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics so you can connect the properties you choose and fetch their performance metrics.

We do not access your email, Drive, Photos, or any other Google services. The product requests only read-only Search Console and Analytics scopes; those scopes do not allow TrustMySEO to edit your properties or account settings.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Newly connected properties are private by default. Published proof pages use an opaque URL and hide the client domain and freelancer attribution unless you deliberately reveal them.
  • Your Search Console metrics are displayed on proof pages exactly as you configure them.
  • We store daily metrics (clicks, impressions, CTR, position) to provide historical charts and aggregates.
  • We never share, sell, or license your data to third parties.
  • We never use your data for training AI models or any purpose beyond displaying your proof pages.

3. Data Storage & Retention

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on secure servers. We retain your Search Console metrics for as long as your account is active. When you disconnect a site or delete your account, all associated metrics are permanently deleted within 30 days.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management) and security. No tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party marketing cookies are used. If we add analytics in the future (e.g., Vercel Analytics), it will be privacy-preserving and anonymized.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties. Public proof pages display only the data you choose to make public (site domain, Search Console metrics). Profile information (name, agency name, bio) is visible on your public profile page only if you have set a username and made it accessible.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access all data we hold about you
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Disconnect individual sites at any time
  • Toggle any proof page between public and private
  • Revoke future Google API access from your Google Account
